Academic Teaching
The Department of Architecture, Building Engineering and Built Environment contributes to expanding the educational offerings of the Politecnico di Milano through undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral university teaching, as well as postgraduate courses and continuing education.
Multidisciplinarity
The faculty of our Department are actively involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching across the four Schools of the Politecnico. Additionally, the Department runs a PhD Program aimed at training and developing high-level professionals.
The Department also offers University Master’s courses and continuing education events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences open to everyone.
Approch
In line with the multidisciplinary vocation of the Department, faculty members teach across the four Schools of the Politecnico, offering expertise that evolves with research in 21 different scientific-disciplinary fields.
The educational offering also includes postgraduate and Longlife Learning courses open to anyone interested in the wide range of competencies available.
Depending on the characteristics of the students and the objectives, postgraduate teaching activities may adopt either an interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary approach. These courses can be organized and delivered through various teaching methods, sometimes involving lecturers from abroad.
The language of instruction can be Italian and/or English.
Courses
Faculty members of the Department of Architecture, Building Engineering and Built Environment teach across all the Schools of the University, both in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, including single-cycle degrees. The Schools of the Politecnico are as follows:
