Presentation day
24 July 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Politecnico di Milano, Campus Leonardo da Vinci
With the participation of Professor Derya Guleç Özer from Istanbul Technical University, this workshop, offered as part of the AUIC School curriculum, aims to develop a customized planning model for selected archaeological routes in the city of Milan that have already been identified by the local public administration.
The workshop seeks to develop, through the spatial analysis of the selected sites, new strategies for enhancing both the archaeological routes and the archaeological heritage, also through architectural design proposals, in line with the UNESCO Sustainable Tourism Programme.
Data are collected through direct interviews conducted by the students, on-site observations, and digital mapping, taking into account the existing urban fabric and the context in which the sites are located. The workshop involves 20 students from Politecnico di Milano and ADA University, Baku, and takes place over a two-week period in July.
