Il Futuro è nella Storia – Federico Bucci Award for the best Degree Theses
The call for entries for the second edition of the Federico Bucci Award for the best Degree Theses is now open.
Students of the Politecnico di Milano may simply send their application and upload their degree thesis in the section Subsidies and agreements > Scholarships, degree awards Online Services.
Types of theses
- Historical thesis: Master's degree thesis in History of Architecture, whose final product clearly demonstrates its originality and novelty.
- Design thesis: Master's degree thesis on urban design, with a particular focus on dialogue with the historical context of reference.
Awards
Historical thesis:
- 1 award worth €2,000 to be awarded to the winning historical thesis.
- 2 special awards worth €1,000 each.
Design thesis:
- 1 award worth €2,000 to be awarded to the winning design thesis.
- Two special prizes worth €1,000 each.
The prizes are intended for graduates of national or international universities who have discussed, individually or in a group, a master's degree thesis or equivalent in the fields of architecture, engineering and design, or in related disciplines. The degree must have been obtained between 1 January 2025 and the deadline for this call for applications.
