From September 18 to 21, the Milan Green Week 2025 will take place — an opportunity to promote sustainability and green spaces in the city.

This year, the event — open to everyone — features the involvement of the Politecnico di Milano, with a special day dedicated to the productive agricultural landscapes of urban areas.

Three events have been planned to explore the value of water as a strategic and generative resource for our territories.

Sunday, September 21:

• 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Villa Necchi Campiglio
• 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Boscoincittà
• 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Cascina Linterno

The day begins in the morning at Villa Necchi Campiglio with a talk between designers and researchers on the theme “Water Weaves”.
In the early afternoon, the program continues with a walk through the urban gardens of Boscoincittà, and concludes at Cascina Linterno with a session curated by Politecnico di Milano and the Amici Cascina Linterno Association, focusing on the regeneration of traditional agricultural irrigation practices for the contemporary city — followed by a walk to discover the marcita meadows, spring-fed fountains (fontanili), and historic hydraulic structures in the Parco delle Cave.
