The intervention will remove architectural, physical and cognitive barriers in the archaeological area of Naxos and the Archaeological Museum, adopting the Universal Design approach. The archaeological area is located in the municipal area of Giardini Naxos, Schisò, one of the most popular seaside areas in eastern Sicily and the hub of cultural activities. The project intends to eliminate barriers and make environments and services usable independently and appreciable by all. The collaboration of specialized research groups will make it possible to have ten-year management planning to enhance the area and the Museum.
