Development and updating of the adaptability and design for disassembly indicators for public and private building assets.

TYPE: Research and Development

This activity contributes to the revision of the UNI/PdR 13:2026 Environmental Sustainability in Construction reference practice by integrating criteria related to adaptability and design for disassembly. The work focuses on the development and updating of indicators applicable to both residential and non-residential buildings, with particular attention to the ability of the building stock to adapt over time to changing functional needs and to promote the recovery, reuse, and value retention of building components across public and private, residential and tertiary-sector assets.

The activity includes the definition of assessment criteria sheets, the development of the corresponding evaluation parameters, and the validation of the proposed indicators through case studies.
