On March 13, 2026, the Politecnico di Milano will host a study day dedicated to the topic of university housing, promoted by the HOME_Lab, Soft Unit of the ABC Department of the Politecnico di Milano, coordinated by Prof. Oscar Eugenio Bellini.

The event will bring together representatives from institutions, academia, and public and private organizations involved in student housing policies, with the aim of discussing strategies, models, and perspectives for the development of student accommodation in Italy.

Throughout the day, discussions will address issues related to new national policies, territorial dynamics, and local development opportunities, with particular attention to the role of universities, public administrations, and stakeholders in the sector.

A significant part of the event will be dedicated to presenting the PRIN 2022 RUSH – Responsive University Student Housing research project, which proposes an innovative and interdisciplinary model to address the challenges of student housing, with particular reference to the context of Southern Italy.
