Emilio Faroldi is Professor of Architecture at the Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. An architect and PhD holder, he currently serves as Executive Vice-Rector of Politecnico di Milano, with delegated responsibility also for the Development and enhancement of university spaces.

He teaches at the School of Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Engineering and is Director of the University Master’s Programme in Sport Design and Management.

He previously served as Vice-Rector of the Mantova Territorial Campus of Politecnico di Milano.He is a Professor and Academician of the International Academy of Architecture and a Member of the Scientific Committee of CSAC – Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione, University of Parma.

He has designed and realised architectural projects in Italy and abroad, several of which have been published in leading professional and academic journals.
