Capanna Regina Margherita
The unit is based at the highest shelter in Europe, located at 4,554 metres on Monte Rosa. In this extreme environmental context, the unit conducts research on the interaction between structure, environment and rock, contributing to the study of climate, engineering and alpine geology.
With an interdisciplinary approach attentive to the needs of the territory, the laboratory represents a point of reference for scientific research at high altitude.
