The group is made up of professors and researchers from the structural engineering macro sector, dealing with Geotechnics, Construction Science and Construction Technique. Historically, it has been active in teaching, research and consultancy activities in the field of structural engineering. It has developed a considerable expertise in many types of analysis: static, dynamic, seismic, linear and non-linear, with different materials, etc. Analysis procedures are carried out in accordance with the main construction regulations, using both spreadsheets and numerical analysis software tools, either commercial or ad hoc developed for the specific issue.
