VeluxLab

pattern
VeluxLab, the first Italian Active House, is a “test facility building” equipped with experimental sensors, where creation and teaching of innovative experiences on the themes of sustainability, light and natural ventilation can take place. VeluxLab, located inside the Bovisa Campus, features a scientific production coordinated by Prof. Marco Imperadori and carries out studies applied to comfort, energy and environment. Partnerships with companies and enterprises extensively support research activities, which are perceived as opportunities to test and implement innovative solutions in the building and construction sector. VeluxLab integrates design, services and control systems through applied research. The research team relies on professionals, professors, researchers, PhD students and thesis students who perform research through BIM 6D (sustainability) and BIM 7D (digital twin and cognitive building) platforms.
